Abstract
Computer-aided techniques used in the field of plastics cover the rang e from the initial idea of a product through design, computations all the way to the manufacture of the mould to be used for it. Yet, there is still a clear discrepancy between the advanced integration in the C AD/CAM field and the application of the computer programmes for physic al and technical applications.
