Abstract
The action of chronic gamma-irradiation at 0.5 Gy dose (a mean dose of 1.8810(-7) Gy/s) on ovogenesis of young rats was studied. Considerabl e structural changes in the organ were revealed one month after the te rmination of the radiation treatment: the number of follicles of all t ypes decreases, the number of atretic follicles increases.
