Abstract
We have determined lifetimes of the 12 4d(9)5p fine-structure levels o f Ag II, using the beam-foil excitation method. The results are compar ed with various theoretical predictions. Fairly good agreement is foun d with recent superposition-of-configurations (SOC) calculations which have included relativistic corrections.
