Abstract
The investigation of the low-dimensional energy transfer between 9-ami noacridine donor and 4-amino-N-phenylnaphtalimide acceptor molecules o n copolymer of vinylacetate and 3-methylstyrene films is carried out u sing the time-correlated single-photon counting technique. The donor f luorescence decay curves are described by the model of radiationless e nergy transfer between donor and acceptor along a linear polymer chain . The energy transfer rate is found to be proportional to the acceptor concentration and the energy transfer is shown to be one-dimensional.
