Abstract
Influence of ozone and aerosol variations after eruption of El Chichon and Pinatubo on UV albedo is considered. An improved two-stream model is used to calculate upward flux (albedo) of UV radiation, The main r esult of calculations is the existence of a distinct maximum in upward flux values at about lambda = 306 - 308 nm. This maximum is shifted t o longer lambda with years passed after eruption. The model calculatio ns are in good agreement with SBUV experimental observations of UV alb edo after El Chichon eruption.
