Abstract
Numerical two-dimensional model of strato-mesospheric circulation is d escribed. The model;accounts for large-scale forcing of planetary wave s. Results of numerical calculations of the strato-mesospheric circula tion and thermal regime for the case of solstice are presented. The qu estions of interaction between the mean-zonal circulation and planetar y waves are discussed.
