Abstract
A facile synthesis of the title compound by pi4s + pi2s cycloaddition of in situ-generated 1-oxaspiro[4,5]deca-7,9-dien-6-one 2 and cyclopen tadiene is reported: the structure and stereochemistry of the adduct h as been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. X-ray analysis.
