S. Poisson et al., EXAFS STUDY OF THE GALLIUM AND IRON ENVIRONMENTS IN CATION CONDUCTINGPYROPHOSPHATE GLASSES, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 209(1-4), 1995, pp. 595-596
EXAFS study of ion conducting pyrophosphate glasses prepared in the Li
2O-Ga2O3-P2O5 and Na2O-(Ga1-xFex)(2)O-3-P2O5 systems may indicate that
gallium atoms are distributed on tetrahedral and octahedral sites whe
reas iron atoms are always found in sixfold coordination. The analysis
of our results suggests that some complex units such as GaP2O11 and F
eP2O11 must be taken into account to describe the glassy network.
