Abstract
We report a case of reflex symphatetic dystrophy diagnosed in a little girl aging 9 years. The main symptom was the acute pain referred to t he right arm. The correct diagnosis was based upon the hystory of a mi ld trauma involving the affected limb, the absence of inflammatory inf lammatory plasma parameters and the X-ray documented segmentary osteop orosis. The response to physiotherapy and to calcitonin subcutaneous i njections was extremely encouraging.
