Abstract
Spectroscopic, thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics of intermolec ular proton transfer in the reactions of II-bonded ion pair formation in solution with the participation of phenol derivatives with strong i ntramolecular II-bonds and nitrogen-containing proton accepters were o btained by means of IR and UV absorption spectra and stopped-flow tech nique. The proposed mechanism of the process studied includes the form ation of intermediate complexes with bifurcated II-bonds.
