Abstract
Polarization spectroscopy has been applied to detect NH radicals in an atmospheric ammonia/oxygen flame. Within the NH (A(3)II - X(3) Sigma) (0-0) transition R- and Q-branches were identified. For selected line s power dependence of the signal and line broadening due to saturation were investigated.
