High-T-c superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-x powders were embedded in
polymer matrices to form 0-3 composites. A study of the AC magnetic su
sceptibility of the superconducting composites is presented. The tempe
rature and magnetic-field dependence of the susceptibility, filler vol
ume fraction dependence, anisotropic effect, and particle size influen
ce were investigated. Results are compared with that of the pure super
conductor and the implications are discussed.
