B. Srigengan et al., DYNAMIC EFFECTS IN LOW-ENERGY ELECTRON-ION SCATTERING, Journal of physics. B, Atomic molecular and optical physics, 29(24), 1996, pp. 897-900
Angular differential measurements from a new electron-ion crossed-beam
s instrument suggest dynamic effects play only a minor role in forward
scattering from almost fully dressed ions, This is contrary to the pr
edictions of a recent many-body theory, and contrary to the case of lo
w-energy backscattering where large dynamic effects have recently been
postulated.
