Abstract
The dependence of the SD effect on temperature, strain rate and disper soid content has been used to evaluate the interphase boundary in Al-A l4C3 systems. The results show the decrease of the SD effect with the increase of both the test temperature and strain rate. It has been sho wn, this property characterizing the interphase boundary is independen t on the dispersoid content in the tested range.
