I. Das et Ev. Sampathkumaran, MAGNETIC-BEHAVIOR OF THE NEW ALLOYS CETXSN2 (T=FE, CO, NI AND CU), Physica. B, Condensed matter, 205(3-4), 1995, pp. 259-262
The results of heat-capacity C, magnetic susceptibility chi and resist
ivity rho measurements above 2 K on the nonstoichiometric alloys, CeFe
0.28Sn2, CeCo0.45Sn2, CeNi0.74Sn2 and CeCu0.5Sn2, are reported. While
the Fe alloy appears to be essentially nonmagnetic down to 2 K, with e
nhanced low temperature C/T behaviour, the Co, Ni and Cu alloys show t
he signatures of magnetic ordering (presumably with dominating ferroma
gnetic interaction) below about 5.2, 4.2 and 8.2 K, respectively.
