Undulation domain structures (UDSs) of thin uniaxial magnetic films ar
e studied. Both accurate and approximate expressions of UDSs energy ar
e obtained in the case of sinusoidal form of domain walls. Results of
calculations of undulation DS energy dependence on its parameters are
presented. The equilibrium values of domain period and domain walls be
nd amplitude which are functions of magnetic film parameters and film
thickness are found for the demagnetized undulation DS. It is shown th
at the energy of demagnetized UDS is less than the energy of parallel-
stripe structure.
