Abstract
Cyanomethylated and carboxymethylated crosslinked polystyrene resin su pports, prepared by appropriate chemical modification of a chloromethy lated polystyrene support, have been used to immobilize Pd(II) complex es which in turn have been used as catalysts in aerobic Wacker oxidati ons of oct-1-ene in tert-butyl alcohol at 60-degrees-C.
