Abstract
The effect of intermolecular interactions on the spectroscopy and phot oreactivity of atmospheric trace gases is investigated. We have charac terized effects resulting from solvation in a complex or condensed pha se using a combination of spectroscopic and photofragment studies. Spe cific examples discussed include chlorine dioxide, the ozone-water com plex, and the oxygen dimer.
