Abstract
A pulse-driven diode laser spectrometer was applied to measure broaden ing coefficients in the P-p branch of the nu(14) band of benzene, C6H6 Single line fit routines were established to evaluate the spectra. Th e self-broadening coefficients near 1023.00 cm(-1) vary from 0.40 cm(- 1)/atm to 0.57 cm(-1)/atm (FWHM). No unambiguous quantum number depend ence was observed.
