Abstract
The problem of phonon transport in crystals with heavy defects is stud ied. A nontrivial behavior of the phonon diffusion coefficient near th e quasilocal frequency concerned with the dwell effect is found. Two i ndependent approaches - the diagrammatic and kinetic ones - are propos ed.
