Ee. Nifantyev et al., EXAMPLES OF 1,3,2-DIOXABENZO-PHOSPHOR(III)INANES, Phosphorus, sulfur and silicon and the related elements, 92(1-4), 1994, pp. 29-38
The concept allowing to synthesize hitherto unknown 1,3,2-dioxabenzo-p
hosphor(III)inanes is introduced. On the basis of H-1, F-19, and P-31
NMR evidence it was shown that the nature of the exocyclic substituent
at the phosphorus atom can have a significant influence on the confor
mational features of the bicyclic phosphorinane ring system as well as
on the chemical properties of this system. The study of the reactions
between 2-dialkylaminobenzo-1,3,2-dioxaphosphor(III)inanes and proton
containing nucleophiles confirmed the structures of the obtained comp
ounds and exhibited their synthetic value.
