Abstract
Benzimidazoles and benzotriazoles are phosphorylated by phosphoric anh ydride to give pyroamidophosphates (2) and their corresponding phospho roamidic acids (3). N.m.r. data of the phosphorylated, 5,6-dimethylben zotriazoles supported the existence of facile phosphorotropy.
