Pyruvic acid oxime (PAO) complexes of metals are promising precursors
for metal oxide ceramics. The synthesis of TiO(PAO)(2) and Ti-2(PAO-H)
(3)O-2(H2O)(3) are reported. Their thermal decomposition allow the pre
paration of anatase (TiO2) at temperatures below 300 degrees C.
