Challet et al., REACTION OF DIOXAPHOSPHOLANES WITH TANTOL OCENE AND NIOBIOCENE MONOHYDRIDES CP(2)M(PME(2)PH)H - SYNTHESIS OF METALLOPHOSPHONOYL COMPLEXES CP(2)M(PME(2)PH)[P(O)(H)(O-CH(2)CHR-OH)] (M=TA OU NB AND R=H OU ME) - STEREOCHEMISTRY, Phosphorus, sulfur and silicon and the related elements, 97(1-4), 1994, pp. 95-102
The monohydrides Cp(2)M(PMe(2)Ph)H (with Cp = eta(5)-C5H5 and M = Ta o
r Nb) react with Cl-P-OCH(2)CHRO (R = H or Me). In a basic medium the
corresponding phosphonium salts (2 or 3) afford the new class of metal
lophosphonoyl complexes: 4 (R = H) and the mixture of diastereoisomers
5, 5', 6 and 6' (R = Me). Reactivity of 4 towards acetylchlorid is re
ported. The H-1 and P-31 NMR spectroscopic data are discussed.
