Abstract
Semi-empirical calculations (PM3 method) are used to check the possibi lity of an assisted addition of nitrosonium cation on 5-mercapto-1,2-d ithiole-3-ylidene as a mechanism of formation of 5-(1-hydroxyiminoalky l)-1,2-dithiole-3-thiones.
