Abstract
For electrically conducting polypyrole films, the thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity were obtained by modeling the signals from th e photopyroelectric flash technique with a one-dimensional four-layer system. This method has a number of advantages over the sinusoidal exc itation: wide thickness range, fast acquisition, simple and cheap setu p. This first thermal characterization of polypyrole films shows an in creasing thermal conductivity with dopant ion concentration.
