Abstract
The results of measurements of surface ozone concentration at the moun tain station Kislovodsk during the period from April, 1989 to July, 19 90 are analyzed. The characteristic features of seasonal and daily var iations have been determined. High stability of mean daily variations from month to month has been noted. The variations of ozone are govern ed by action of up and down slope circulation and photochemical proces ses which lead to ozone depletion in pure air of free troposphere and to ozone generation in more polluted air of low troposphere.
