Abstract
Two patients developed critical illness polyneuropathy after severe hy perpyrexia. Fever was secondary to a phaeochromocytoma in one patient and sepsis in the other. These observations suggest that high fever ma y be one possible aetiology of critical illness polyneuropathy.
