A numerical resolution concerning pulsatile flows of inelastics fluids
through porous anisotropic elastic ducts is presented. The objective
is to investigate the effects of anisotropy of pipe wall material for
a generalized Casson fluid. Using an implicit difference method to res
olve the equations, the determine the axial and radial velocity profil
es, the pressure, the flow rate and the flow rate filtration distribut
ions and the wall axial and radial displacement. This study, considere
d as a step in modelling of flow in blood vessels, may also contribute
to other important fields such as water desalination or gel filtratio
n.
