Abstract
In spite of the observation of N-15 nuclear polarisation expected from the separate addition of two NO2. radicals in the reaction of nitroge n dioxide with allylbenzene and some other alkenes, kinetic studies in dicate that both NO2. and N2O4 are reactive species, each leading only to addition products.
