In magnetic fields up to 61 T, magnetotransport measurements on the Ko
ndo insulator, Ce3Bi4Pt3 find dramatic decreases in resistivity and in
creases in electron density for temperatures below approximate to 15 K
. The data suggest that the magnetic field collapses a small (approxim
ate to 37 K) energy gap, yielding metallic behavior for B greater than
or similar to 50 T.
