F. Goze et al., ANGULAR AND MAGNETIC-FIELD DEPENDENCIES OF THE MAGNETORESISTANCE OF LAMBDA-(BETS)(2)FECL4 IN THE FIELD-RESTORED HIGH-CONDUCTIVITY STATE, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 211(1-4), 1995, pp. 290-292
The very sharp metal-insulator transition, which occurs at 8 K at ambi
ent pressure in lambda-(BETS)(2)FeCl4 is suppressed when applying magn
etic fields > 10T. This unusual phenomenon may be connected to ferroma
gnetic ordering of the Fe3+ moments, which could drive some ''evaporat
ion'' of the previously condensed conduction electrons, into a field-r
estored highly conducting state (FRHCS) in which oscillations of the m
agnetoresistance are reported.
