Abstract
Fracture of the sesamoid bone of the thumb is a rare injury. In this r eport three additional cases with fracture of an ulnar sesamoid bone o f the thumb are reported. The anatomic considerations, the mechanisms of injury, the differential diagnoses, and management are discussed wi th the English-language literature.
