Abstract
Modeling high-T-c superconductors as a superlattice of Josephson coupl ed CuO2 layers the interlayer correlation function for the gap is calc ulated. A significant correlation is found between adjacent CuO2 layer s in the superconducting state. This is consistent with recent inelast ic neutron scattering and NMR measurements which imply a strong interl ayer correlation between normal regions in the superconducting state.
