Abstract
The Co substitution effect on the magnetostrictive properties of DyFe2 has been investigated using magnetic measurement. The specific satura tion magnetization sigma(s) of the Dy(Fe1-xCox)(2) compounds firstly d ecreases with x and then increases. The magnetostriction constant lamb da(t) of these compounds increases with re monotonically. These phenom ena are been discussed.
