Abstract
A series of dinuclear complexes of Ni-II, Co-II and Cu-II have been pr epared by template 1:2 condensation of 3,5-diacetyl-1,2,4-triazole and the corresponding aniline in the presence of 1 equivalent of lithium hydroxide and the corresponding metal(II) salt. The dinuclear nature o f the nickel and cobalt compounds have been demonstrated by FAB mass s pectrometry and magnetic measurements, which indicate the presence of antiferromagnetic exchange interactions.
