Abstract
The polymorphous low-grade adenocarcinoma is a recently described vari ant of salivary gland adenocarcinoma with a comparatively good prognos is. Polymorphous low-grade adenocarcinoma occurs most frequently in th e palate with a peak incidence between 30 and 70 years of age. The fem ale/male ratio is approximately 2:1, and the tumors exhibit slow growt h with a low recurrence rate. The simultaneous occurrence of polymorph ous low-grade adenocarcinoma has not been previously reported. This ar ticle reviews the existing literature and describes the first two repo rts of simultaneous intraoral polymorphous low-grade adenocarcinoma.
