Abstract
Robinson-Trautman radiative space-times with a positive cosmological c onstant are studied by analytical methods. They are shown to approach the Schwarzschild-de Sitter solution at large retarded times. Their gl obal structure is analyzed, and it is demonstrated that they represent explicit models exhibiting the cosmic no-hair conjecture and black-ho le formation under the presence of gravitational waves.
