Abstract
In this Brief Report we investigate a cosmological solution with singu lar scalar fields (a moduli held and the dilaton). We show that after quantizing the scalar fields the quantum corrections smooth out the si ngularities. In addition, we argue that the incorporation of nonpertur bative quantum corrections form a dilaton potential.
