Abstract
In experiments in anesthetized rats with electrical (10-1000 mu A) sti mulation of the solitary tract nucleus and caudal ventrolateral medull ary structures short-latency (0.64-1.95 ms) and long-latency (5.14-13. 1 ms) evoked responses in the lateral vestibular nucleus were observed . It is suggested that connections between these structures af the dor sal and ventral medulla may be a functional channel for realisation of vestibulo-sympathetic reflexes.
