Abstract
In contrast to ditrisarubicin B and betaclacamycin, the methyl alpha-L -glycosides of the class I and class II anthracyclines, which were syn thesized from methyl beta-L-daunosiminide hydrochloride, showed only w eak interactions with calf thymus DNA.
