Abstract
The stereochemical behaviour of (3R)- and (3S)-3-methylpiperazine-2,5- dione derivatives during acylation and aldol condensation was studied and the configurations of the newly introduced stereogenic centres wer e assigned on the basis of H-1 NMR spectroscopic data.
