Abstract
Wedding rituals are presented for the Rdo Sbis Tibetan Township area i n Qinghai, China. This is a detailed study of this wedding, including engagement, sending the bride to the groom's home, receiving the bride at the groom's home, songs, speeches, variant wedding forms, and divo rce. The authors stress the dearth of previous detailed studies of vil lage-level weddings in Amdo.
