The spin-flip rate of scattering resulting from the presence of Fe ato
ms in a very thin Cu film is determined as a function of the temperatu
re between 1.6 K and 40 K by means of weak electron localization. The
spin-flip scattering rate shows a maximum at 18 K which can be interpr
eted as resonant Kondo scattering. From a comparison of the Suhl-Nagao
ka approximation with the present data a Kondo temperature T-K approxi
mate to 15 K is found.
