Numerous eggs of Ascaris cf. lumbricoides have been discovered in pala
eolithic sediments of the pictorial sanctuary of the Grande Grotte at
Arcy-sur-Cure. The presence of this parasit specifically human during
the upper Pleistocene open a new way of search about the knowledge of
ancient populations.
