Abstract
Congenital inguinal hernias, relatively common among infants, have rar ely been reported in utero. In this brief report, the prenatal diagnos is of this condition based on movement of the intestinal content withi n the ileal loops is described. The differential diagnosis with other masses protruding from the abdominal wall (omphalocele) or the perinea l region (sacrococcygeal teratoma, hydrocele) is discussed.
