Pagiocertas frontalis produced offspring on maize between 13 degrees C
and 30 degrees C. Below and above these temperatures development was
not completed. The optimum developmental temperature was 25 degrees C.
P. frontalis was able to produce Fl between 20% and 75% r.h. though t
he mortality at lower rel. humidities was high.
