Abstract
Fe(III)-Cu(II)-oxo-trinuclear complexes with diphenylacetic acid (L), [Fe(2)CuOL(6)(H2O)(3)]. 3H(2)O, where prepared and characterized by el emental analysis, electrical conductance, magnetic susceptibility. mea surements, and IR and electronic spectra. The Fe(III)Cu(II) complexes were isolated as reaction intermediates in formation of the copper fer rites according to an improved variant of the wet ferritization method in which the pH plays a determining role.
