Abstract
It has been found that an exactly solvable 1/r(2) extension of the Pau li-Hamiltonian is possible for a spin-1/2 charged particle interacting with a point magnetic vortex system. Using the spectrum generating su persymmetry, all square integrable wave functions of the system have b een obtained including singular states which are the states almost tra pped into the point magnetic vortex. We have found how the additional 1/r(2) interaction changes the number of almost trapped states. The sp ectrum generating supersymmetry is also used to study the case when an additional external harmonic potential is present in the system.
