Abstract
The precision and accuracy of S-34/S-32 ratio measurements in sulfides by ion microprobe is compared using two different techniques, high ma ss resolution and extreme energy filtering, Our results indicate that the extreme energy filtering technique is more robust, yielding both b etter precision and accuracy. The difference between the two technique s is particularly apparent when measuring samples mounted in different sample mounts.
